Satpadi Roti (Seven Grain Roti)

Ingredients

Seven grain flour – 1cup
Bottle gourd (louki) grated – 1cup
Or Ashgourd
Finely chopped green chilly- 1
Finely chopped coriander leaves – 1 tbsp
Ginger Garlic paste – 1tbsp
Haldi powder- 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil to pan fry
Water or curds little help kneading (if required)

Method

Mix all the dry ingredients. Add the paste, grated and chopped vegetables. Mix well. The liquid from the vegetables should be enough to make a stiff dough. If not, use a little water or curd. Keep the dough covered with for 5 to 10 minutes.
With help of dry flour roll 6 to 8 inch chapattis. Roast on a tava (griddle) lightly on both sides. Smear with little oil, ghee or butter. Turn & roast on both sides for 1 to 2 minutes till done.

Serve with curd, chutney or pickle of your choice.

Can be made in advance & stored up to 24 hrs. Ideal for lunch box.
